Ammucare throughout Trust Brings Joy with Onam Gift Packs to 88 Needy Families in Kerala

With the festive spirit of Onam in the air, Ammucare Charitable Trust recently took an impactful step to spread joy among 88 deserving families in multiple cities of Kerala. Essential ingredients for Onam Sadya were gifted, targeting the daily-wage earners and the underprivileged.
Onam Sadya Essentials Reaching the Right Hands
The initiative focused on delivering high-quality Onam Gift Packs, complete with all the must-haves for an authentic Onam Sadya. From fresh vegetables and lentils to essential spices like sambar powder and turmeric powder, each pack was designed to deliver more than just food. Banana chips and cooking oil were also part of the thoughtful assembly.
Extending a Helping Hand Across Kerala
The distribution spanned various regions, including Trivandrum, Ernakulam, Angalamy, Kannur, and Thrissur. With a special emphasis on families who have been severely impacted due to various challenges, including the economic fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ammucare made sure the support reached those who needed it the most.
Community Empowerment Through Collective Action
Local volunteers and Ammucare unit heads collaborated to identify the most deserving beneficiaries. “This isn’t just a festival gift; it’s a step toward empowering these families to join in the cultural celebrations that they otherwise might have to miss out on,” said Surya Sujanan, representing Ammucare Charitable Trust.
