With a diverse array of expertise, experience, and skills among its members, Ammucare aims to advance its mission and broaden its impact, reaching even more individuals in the years to come.

Shashi Kumar

A post-graduate in Civil Engineering from IIT Delhi with more than 4 decades of diverse experience in Civil Engineering and construction. Involved in development several large scale infrastructure projects and township development projects in India and Malaysia. Passionate about sustainable development projects and about the fact that mostly all sustainable infrastructure development projects are social engineering projects and have to be people centric in their design and conceptualization.

Shaju Mangalam

Shaju Mangalam is an accomplished professional with over 26 years of experience in the field of economic and trade policy advocacy. He is currently the regional head of one of India’s apex industry associations. Throughout his career, he has been a driving force behind many successful initiatives and campaigns aimed at promoting the growth and development of the Indian economy. In addition to his professional achievements, he is also deeply committed to corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities. He believes that businesses have a responsibility to give back to the communities they serve, and has worked tirelessly to promote sustainable development and social welfare programs in India.
Shaju has been associated with Ammucare since its inception in 2003 and actively guides the organization on various strategic initiatives, especially relating to its relationships with the corporate world.

Bharat Gada

Bharat Gada is a distinguished figure with a multifaceted career that spans ownership of a publicly traded company, extensive investment in commercial properties over the last 40 years, and a profound commitment to social welfare through Ammucare. His involvement since 2018 has seen him spearhead impactful initiatives that resonate with his values of service and compassion. These include operating a kitchen that feeds children in Ganeshpuri and Badlapur, participating in extensive tree planting across Maharashtra, feeding dogs, and distributing sanitary pads in Tribal areas. Through these actions, Bharat Gada lives by Mohanji’s teachings, embodying service, compassion, and a deep commitment to making a meaningful impact in the world. His diverse efforts reflect a holistic approach to welfare, spanning environmental, animal, and community well-being.

Deepali Bais

Deepali Bais is a qualified professional, holding a B.E. in electronics and telecommunication, complemented by an M.B.A. in Human Resources. Additionally, she is certified as a counselor, highlighting her diverse skill set. With an impressive career spanning 15 years at renowned firms like Reliance Industries and IBM, Deepali transitioned from the corporate world to devote herself to humanitarian pursuits. Since 2011, Deepali has been an integral figure at Ammucare, serving as its vice president until 2017 and subsequently contributing as an esteemed member of the Advisory Board. Furthermore, she ardently champions the preservation of India’s cultural heritage, spearheading initiatives to uplift and empower weavers and artisans nationwide. Deepali epitomizes a fusion of professional excellence and compassionate leadership, leaving an enduring impact on both the corporate and philanthropic spheres.

Kishore Mundanat

Kishore Mundanat is veteran working in IT industries since last 23 years. While continuing with his work he follows his passion about working on social causes like hunger, education for the under privileged children and environment. He has been working on ground working on these causes which gives him the real understanding about the problems faced by the society. He has played an instrumental role in Ammucare for setting up an old age home in Tiruvannamalai which caters to the destitutes and forsaken. The home is open to people who need it most without any social barriers.

Nikunj Naredi

Nikunj is a Social Entrepreneur . A Fashion designer from National Institute of Fashion Technology, she has been a part of the fashion and design Industry for almost 17 years including her role as a design educator . She has an experience of working with leading export houses for almost ten years in Mumbai and has served as the India Head of ‘Best Karma Designs.’ She was the Head of the Fashion Design department of Arka Jain University in Gamharia and has helped lay the foundation of the department -designing the curriculum and planning the infrastructure. She is the founder of Ahimsa Imprints which is a brand dedicated to sustainable and responsible products handmade by rural women being trained under Ammucare’s Act for Women Project which she spear heads.

Kamesh Sagar

Kamesh Sagar, a seasoned addition to the finance team at Ammucare, brings a wealth of expertise as a postgraduate in commerce and a certified chartered accountant. His primary focus is on stewarding donor funds to align with their intended purposes, meticulously managing finances to optimize resource utilization. With a keen eye for detail, Kamesh is dedicated to streamlining financial operations, ensuring efficiency and transparency across all endeavors.

Sankaran Kesavan

Sankaran Kesavan, an accomplished software architect employed by a prominent electronics corporation, brings over two decades of comprehensive IT expertise to his current role as a dedicated volunteer at Ammucare, overseeing the organization’s social media presence and website maintenance. Leveraging his professional acumen, he adeptly manages various social media and promotional endeavours for Ammucare, contributing significantly to its mission of philanthropic service.

Manoranjan Sahu

Manoranjan Sahu is a valued member of Ammucare’s Finance team, bringing a wealth of expertise with a postgraduate degree in Commerce and an MBA in Finance. With over 13 years of extensive experience in Finance & Accounts, he currently holds the esteemed position of Finance and Commercial Head at a renowned organization. In his role at Ammucare, Manoranjan oversees all financial operations, including receipts, payments, and vendor management, ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of the organization’s financial activities.
Harmeet Kaur is an experienced HR professional with over 17 years of experience in the complete gamut of human resources. She has a deep passion for Mohanji’s vision to make the world a better place. She believes in the power of empowering women and girls and is determined to make a difference in the lives of the children. She is directly responsible for running Mohanji Ka Aangan in Delhi, besides serving as Secretary for Ammucare. Harmeet has a deep commitment to excellence in all her endeavors and is known for her strong work ethic and ability to get things done.
Savitri Jayasurya currently serves as Treasurer for Ammucare. She is responsible for managing our finances and ensuring that our resources are used effectively. She has been a key member of our leadership team and has been instrumental in spearheading our Annadaan projects across India. Especially during the Covid-19 pandemic, Savitri played a crucial role in our food donation initiative, ensuring that those in need received essential supplies. Savitri is deeply committed to ensuring that our resources are used effectively and efficiently, and she is always looking for ways to optimize our financial operations.
Arpana Nazre is an experienced CSR professional with a background in computer science engineering. She has worked in the IT field for over 20 years. She has been associated with Ammucare since 2015 and is currently the CSR Head, responsible for overseeing our corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Mohanji Ka Aangan in North Bangalore is set up by her and she continues to bring joy, exposure, creativity among kids at the aangan. She is deeply committed to Ammucare’s vision of creating a world where everyone has access to basic needs, and she is always looking for ways to make a difference.
