During the sacred 15-day period of Pitru Paksha, the Ammucare Charitable Trust—guided by Mohanji—organizes large-scale Annadaan (food donation) drives and profound acts of charity dedicated to honoring ancestors and bringing peace to lineage karma. Conducted under the global ACT4Hunger banner, these extensive sevas (selfless service) transform a deeply spiritual tradition into a powerful movement of universal kindness. In collaboration with platforms like GuruLight, Ammucare facilitates these traditional offerings across various spiritual power centers in India, allowing devotees to connect with their roots through the ultimate act of giving.
Our volunteers work untiringly on the ground to distribute thousands of life-sustaining meals and care across multiple fronts:
- Nourishing the Needy: Distributing fresh, wholesome, and hygienically prepared meals to underprivileged families, daily wage earners, and individuals facing severe economic hardships.
- Serving the Saints: Offering respectful, sanctified meals to sadhus, ascetics, and spiritual seekers who have dedicated their lives to quiet contemplation.
- Caring for Stray Animals: Extending the spirit of seva beyond humanity by providing regular, nutritious feed to stray animals and birds, recognizing the divine spark in all living beings.
