In this sanctified realm of devotion and renunciation, Ammucare in association with Avadhut Mandal Ashram inaugurated the Badrinath Annakshetra on 25th June 2026, a dedicated food seva initiative serving around 100 sadhus, wandering monks, and pilgrims daily including those in Mana village. Continuing the sacred tradition of Annadaan, this offering sustains those who walk the path of austerity and surrender at the feet of Lord Vishnu.

In Mohanji Annakshetra in Badrinath, we serve nutritious hot meals every day to the sadhus, pilgrims, devotees visiting there.

Serving meals to pilgrims in Badrinath carries exceptionally high operational costs due to extreme Himalayan terrain and complex logistics. Basic groceries and fuel must be transported across steep mountain tracks using porters and mules, and occasionally airlifted by helicopter.Direct support for these remote kitchens ensures that thousands of weary devotees receive fresh, warm meals daily despite freezing conditions and challenging journeys.

Last week alone, we served over 300 meals, and over 1,900 meals during the previous month.
