Ganagapur is a sacred Datta Kshetra in Karnataka, where Shri Narsimha Saraswati Swami Maharaj, the second avatar of Lord Dattatreya, resided and performed penance for over two decades.

Every Thursday, Ammucare Charitable Trust conducts a sacred Annadan Seva within the temple premises at this holy pilgrimage centre. Aligned with the deep-rooted tradition of Madhukari and the profound spiritual significance of Thursday—Guruvar—in the Datta tradition, dedicated Ammucare volunteers serve freshly prepared, wholesome meals to pilgrims, devotees, sadhus, and members of the local community.

By distributing food with unconditional love, humility, and care within the sacred precincts, this weekly service honours the timeless principle that serving food to others is serving the Divine.
