Thiruchendur, one of South India’s most revered pilgrimage centers, is home to the majestic sea-shore temple of Lord Muruga, one of His six sacred abodes. This divine coastal town draws thousands of devotees and is also a quiet refuge for wandering monks and abandoned elders who seek shelter in its spiritual embrace.

Since September 2022, Ammucare has been offering daily Annadaan here, lovingly serving around 35 sadhus and pilgrims with fresh, nourishing meals. Each plate served is a gesture of compassion, restoring dignity and hope in a place where the ocean meets devotion.

In Thiruchendur, we distribute food coupons to the people visiting there. Last week alone, we served over 245 meals, and over 1,085 meals during the previous month.
