Campaign Story
The sacred city of Kashi (Varanasi), home to Lord Kashi Vishwanath, is revered as the Moksha Sthan—a place where countless souls seek liberation. Along the ghats of this timeless city, sadhus and pilgrims gather in devotion, prayer, and surrender.
In this spiritually charged atmosphere, Ammucare began its Annadaan seva in September 2020, serving nourishing meals to those walking the path of renunciation. On 23rd February 2025, the initiative expanded in association with Juna Akhada, the largest and most ancient of all Akhadas, deepening its reach and impact.
Today, around 100 sadhus and pilgrims are served daily with love, respect, and devotion. By offering food at this sacred location, you’re not just feeding the hungry—you’re receiving the blessings of countless seekers journeying toward liberation.
Here we serve nutritious hot meals every day to villagers. Last week alone, we served over 700 meals, and over 31,000 meals during the previous month.
