At Trimbakeshwar, the holy source of the Godavari River and home to one of the 12 sacred Jyotirlingas, feeding aquatic life is considered a deeply transformative act of compassion (Jeev Seva). In Sanatan tradition, fish represent the Matsya Avatar—the first incarnation of Lord Vishnu—making fish feeding a direct reverence to the preserver of life.

Offering fresh wheat flour balls or natural feed to fish in the sacred waters of the Godavari is believed to cleanse negative karma, ease financial hurdles, and bring emotional peace by pacifying planetary afflictions like Chandra and Rahu Dosh. By supporting this simple yet profound daily Seva, you help nourish life in sacred waters while sustaining a timeless spiritual tradition.
