Campaign Story
In the sacred land of Puri Dham—the abode of Lord Jagannath—serving Mother Cow is considered one of the highest forms of living devotion. The cow is revered as a motherly symbol of nourishment, purity, and selfless giving, sheltering divine grace within her gentle presence. At the Puri Gaushala, hundreds of abandoned, aged, or rescued cows find safety, care, and shelter. Through Ammucare’s animal welfare outreach, regular feeding drives ensure that these sacred beings receive clean drinking water, fresh green grass, and nutritious fodder daily.
Providing regular, high-nutrition feed like fresh green grass, oil cakes, and jaggery keeps the cows healthy, nourished, and protected from disease. By sustaining the gaushala, this Seva honors Sanatan values of kindness while preserving a sacred sanctuary of peace and protection.
