Blood Donation in Jammu - 21 Feb, 2011
As gratitude to Mohanji on his birthday, and to carry forward his message of selfless service 'Seva'; Sumit Pratap Gupta and his 20 friends have donated blood for Thallasemic children registered with Government medical College, Jammu, India.
Thallasemia is an inherited genetic disorder where small children suffer from severe anemia due to defect in formation of blood. The best treatment for these children is frequent blood transfusion.
Sumit and his friends also plan to conduct awareness program in Jammu collage about blood donation for Thallasemic children. He is also conducting Power of Purity Meditation for these children.
BTW team expresses heartfelt thanks to Sumit and our dear friends in Jammu for organizing this blood donation drive under the banner of Ammucare Charitable Trust. The certificate that they received from the blood bank is attached.
