Free heart-surgery and dialysis.

The following is based on a news report from Malapuram which appeared in the Mathrubhumi daily dated 29 December, 2009.
The Lions Club International, in association with Moulana Hospital, Perintalmanna, is arranging
i) free heart surgery for 200 patients
ii) free dialysis for 15,000 kidney-failure cases.
This will be restricted to benefit patients from three districts in Kerala - Malapram, Thrissur and Palakkad. The patients may contact the officials of the Lions Club chapters nearest to them. The dialysis will be arranged at the hospitals in each district to suit the convenience of the patients concerned.
The above scheme was announced in a press conference in which officials of the local Lions Club and Moulana Hospital were present.
